J. Ames requires speakers and a sound card on a computer running Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.01 or higher. J. Ames will not work in Netscape.
J. Ames also requires:
1) Microsoft Agent 2.0. Download Microsoft Agent here (MS Agent comes pre-installed with Windows 2000 and Windows ME).
2) the animated character "James", created and produced by La Cantoche Production. Download a zipped .exe file of "James" here.
3) a text-to-speech engine. Download the TruVoice text-to-speech engine here.
Once these components are downloaded - and the executables installed - begin by clicking on any tutorial.
