THE VIRTUAL LAW PROFESSOR
JURIST >> TEACHING LAW >> The Virtual Law Professor

Meet J. Ames, JURIST's virtual law professor! Much more than just another talking head on video, J. Ames is a fully-animated, computer-generated Microsoft Agent character who interacts with the Web and - like his real-world colleagues - never lectures the same way twice. With his mustache, high collar and tie he looks a bit like James Barr Ames, the late nineteenth century Dean of the Harvard Law School who became the prototype of the modern full-time academic law teacher. To see J. Ames in action, follow the instructions on the right-hand side of this page, then pick a tutorial from the list below. All tutorials have been designed for 800 x 600 screen resolution. Sorry, Microsoft Agent will not work with Netscape browsers.
