JURIST - Paper Chase: Pakistan ambassador to US seeks release of nationals from Guantanamo Bay

Ambassador Haqqani's efforts to secure the release of the remaining Pakistani prisoners at Guantanamo comes just after Saturday's unannounced release [AP report] of Pakistani detainee Qari Saad Madni from the detention center. Six Pakistani terrorism suspects are believed to be held by the US, including Aafia Siddiqui [FBI materials], the first woman scheduled to stand trial on terrorism charges related to al-Qaeda.
