[JURIST] British authorities on Tuesday arrested another suspect in connection with last week's foiled terror plot [JURIST report] to blow up jetliners headed for various airports in the United States, bringing the number of arrested suspects up to 25. London's Metropolitan Police Service [official website] only disclosed that they had made an arrest in the Thames Valley, and did not give any information on the identity of the suspect. Metropolitan Police Service Assistant Commissioner Peter Clarke said the initial "arrests were made on suspicion of the commission, preparation or instigation of Acts of terrorism under the Terrorism Act 2000."
