NYT reporter subpoenaed in CIA leak probe

New York Times reporter Judith Miller has been subpoenaed by a grand jury to testify about the disclosure of an covert CIA officer's identity. Saying the subpoena seeks to compel Miller to reveal confidential sources, Times' publisher has said the paper will move to quash the subpoena and will fight an expected subpoena for the paper's records. The New York Times has more. As previously reported on JURIST's Paper Chase, US District Judge Thomas Hogan has held a Time magazine reporter and the magazine itself in contempt for refusing to name the government officials who disclosed the agent's identity.
