Six charged in connection with USS Cole bombing
Jeannie Shawl at 9:32 AM ET

A Yemeni security court has charged six men in connection with the 2000 bombing of the USS Cole, saying they belonged to the al-Qaeda terrorist network. The six Yemenis, including accused mastermind Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri, were charged with forming an armed gang to carry out criminal acts against the interests of the state, belonging to al-Qaeda, resisting authorities and forging documents. The defendants refused to enter a plea and asked for lawyers. AP has the full story.
