Oregon appeals court upholds same-sex marriage registration

The Oregon State Court of Appeals ruled Friday that 3,000 same-sex marriages conducted last March should be registered. Attorney General Hardy Myers asked for the marriages to be placed on hold until the state supreme court decides on the issue or a ballot measure is placed in the November elections. While the registration of the marriages is settled for now, their legality ultimately waits on the state supreme court. Reuters has more.
