Israeli Attorney General names team to examine ICJ security fence ruling

Israeli Attorney General Menachem Mazuz has appointed a team of experts to examine last week's World Court ruling that Israel's West Bank separation fence is illegal. JURIST's Paper Chase has background on the ICJ decision. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Ariel Sharon has ordered that construction on the fence continue in accordance with the recent Israeli High Court of Justice decision. Again, Paper Chase has background on the Israeli court decision. Haaertz has the full story. In a related story, EU foreign ministers met Monday to define the EU's position on the ICJ ruling. The EU opposes the barrier, but did not support the decision to take the matter before the World Court. Haaertz has more.
