Former Haitian prime minister arrested
Jeannie Shawl at 12:09 PM ET

Yvon Neptune, former Prime Minister under Haiti's ex-President Jean-Bertrand Aristide, has been arrested and is reportedly being held in prison in Port-au-Prince. Neptune is being held in connection with the killing of several people while the Haitian government was trying to put down the armed uprising that ultimately led to Aristide's removal from power in February. Haiti's current Prime Minister, Gerard Latortue, has said that Aristide's supporters "have never believed in a law-based society, and they don't have any respect for government institutions." BBC News has more.
