Federal judge certifies class in sex discrimination suit against Wal-Mart

A federal district judge in California Tuesday certified a class of 1.6 million women in a class-action sex discrimination suit against Wal-Mart. The suit alleges that Wal-Mart discriminated against women employees in pay, promotions and training, and retaliated against those who complained. Reuters has the full story.
