FBI investigating source of Chalabi intelligence leak
Jeannie Shawl at 10:32 AM ET

The FBI is investigating the source of an information leak in the US government which may damage US efforts to monitor Iran's activities. According to US officials, speaking anonymously, the US government has evidence that former Iraqi exile Ahmad Chalabi, or his followers, told Iran that the US had cracked some of its codes for transmitting sensitive information. AP has the full story. Iran has denied receiving intelligence from Chalabi; Iran's top national security official has said "all of this is false" and "we have no relations in regard to intelligence." AFP has more.
