BREAKING NEWS ~ US charges Australian Gitmo Bay detainee with al Qaida ties

Reuters is reporting that the Pentagon has announced that David Hicks, an Australian being held at Guatanamo Bay, will be tried for alleged al Qaida ties. A Defense Department press release is available here, and the charges against Hicks can be found here. Reuters has more.
