Ahead of an emergency US-UK-Spain summit in the Azores, UK Foreign Secretary Jack Straw said Saturday in a BBC Radio interview that a second UN Security Council resolution was not legally necessary for military action against Iraq. On the same BBC program, former UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Mary Robinson doubted the legality of an Iraq war....
