From the law school conference circuit: the Digital Rights Management meeting at UC Berkeley School of Law that wrapped up Saturday is featured in an article in CNET. Audio recordings of most of the conference sessions are already online from Berkeley; video footage should follow shortly.

New on law professors' weblogs Sunday: Jack Balkin of Yale Law School is keeping his eye on Patriot Act II. Eric Muller of the University of North Carolina Law School gives further consideration to the question of whether voluntary action of US citizens as human shields in Iraq would be "giving aid and comfort to the enemy" constituting treason under Article III of the Constitution. His answer: yes. And Lawrence Solum of Loyola Law School Los Angeles continues his debate with colleague Rick Hasen over the role of ideology in judicial selection.
