Law schools, professors, students sue Department of Defense

AP reports that a nationwide group of law schools, law professors and law students has sued the Department of Defense, alleging its requirement that law schools allow military recruiters on campus violates the First Amendment. In other law school news, AP reports that a federal judge has ruled that Louisiana cannot keep foreigners from taking the state bar exam just because they are not permanent residents of the United States... The Boston Globe reports on Elena Kagan, the new dean of Harvard Law School, and her goals to "to shape the school's future and to influence the way law is taught throughout the nation".
