Eldred copyright extension ruling

[JURIST] By a 7-2 margin the US Supreme Court upheld on Wednesday the 1998 Sonny Bono Copyright Term Extension Act [PDF text], retroactively extending statutory copyright protection by a further 20 years beyond the original term of the author's life plus 50 years.
